First Time Love Poems

First Time Love

Poetry about First Love

There's just something about a first love that creates such profound emotions in us that we are indelibly marked by our experiences with the person who manages to steal our heart for the very first time. In fact, the memories of that special person seem to never fade. The first time we held hands, the first kiss, these are moments that are marked by an innocence and a timid sweetness that is unique to first loves and, quite honestly, difficult to describe in words. That first love, for a lucky few, may even create a bond strong enough to last forever.

By Edward Bonner (Fromen)

The poem is about a process of a kiss. And falling in love.

Testing the waters before it's too late:
A flutter of an eye, a peck on the cheek, the smell of her skin:
Is an adventure I seek:
After our night:
Alone in bed:
What thoughts may lie ahead?
Smile so bright:
Twinkle in her eyes:
Will she answer my call for a second night?
Greeting at her door:
A kiss on her hand:
Adorable and soft; I see a blush; will she understand?
Dinner date and a movie is a night that I plan:
Hours of talking and laughing;
Time to take her hand:
Walking to the door:
My mind is spinning:
Learning to love:
Is this the beginning?
Palms sweaty, legs like rubber:
I look into her eyes:
Heart pounding like thunder:

Am I the one?
As she turns:
One moment of my life has stopped:
I feel her satin lips: A KISS!
Pure and innocent:
Unforgettable:
She has taken me to another world:
Unlocked a dream:
Opened my heart and filled my soul:
The greatest mystery has happened to me:
Each step we'll take to another level:
A kiss on her forehead; must be gentle:
I adore you; and comfort you:
Mysterious and sensual, is the look in her eyes:
When she is quiet, tell her she is beautiful:
For not to lie:
Actions are slow and unstoppable:
Nibble on her ear, a kiss on her shoulder.
She can't resist:
She looks away. Pull her close:
Listen to my voice:
How is this going to be?
When I kiss your neck and taste your lips:
Tell me baby!
You're my lover:
You're my partner:
This is our moment;
You can't resist.

I wrote this poem about my first love. I eventually did say I love you, and it was the beginning of a long, wonderful relationship.

Putting me up on a pedestal,
loving everything about me.
Loving holding his hand,
loving looking into his eyes.
Loving everything about him.

Long hours on the phone,
sweet kisses on the cheek.
It seems like love
but all too quick.

Skipping class
and sneaking out.
Holding hands
and walking around.
Looking into his eyes
as he looks in mine.
Knowing that I'm his
and he's mine.

Cute gestures,
and sweet sayings.
I want to say I love you,
but I fear it's too soon.

It seems perfect,
the way we are.
It's going so well,
how long will it last?
Will it be love?
I think so.
Because he's too perfect
to let go.

A breath of fresh air. To look inside your heart will light the spark of what we need to know. A challenge to be free is a question of time.

As I look up, I gazed upon your face
So warming and caring
Your eyes so full of life
I knew from the moment I saw you that you were the one for me

The one who would love and care for me
Who I would spend the rest of my life with
As an artist I love poetic verse
I thought about you day and night

I said nothing to you and you said nothing to me
We just passed by each other from time to time
Never knowing, always wondering
When I went to sleep the night I dreamed sweet dreams of you

When I saw you again I just couldn't stand it any longer
I had to tell you and I did
I leaned and whispered in your ear, just three simple words
I love you and you said the same in return

Our love for one another flourished
Like a dozen roses in the spring
And I knew then
As I know now

That you were the only one for me.

I wrote this for my second girlfriend but never got to give it to her.

Will you be my Valentine?
The Bonnie to my Clyde;
The bacon to my eggs;
Will you be mine?

Will you be the Juliet to my Romeo?
The sweet to my sour;
The Bluebonnets to my Texas;
Will you be mine?

Will you be the Flour to my Tortilla?
The Dot to my Com;
The Bluebell to my Ice cream;
Will you be mine?

Will you be my first kiss?
The one who is there for me;
The romantic to my hopelessly;
Will you be mine?

I wrote this poem after my first love contacted me after 15 years being apart from each other. We never broke up and we have always had a spiritual connection with each other. My poem is an emotion that describes how I feel now knowing that we will soon be reunited again.

Do you know what you’re doing to me?;
The tone of your voice fills me up with glee;
I hear your giggles and your smiles;
In my heart I hope your not using your wiles;

You don’t need to be fancy to bind me to you;
Your mere simplicity has me in a skew;
Can’t eat because I’m filled with butterflies;
Tingling from my head, back and all between my thighs;

What I would do to be in your arms right now;
Losing my mind but need to keep it together somehow;
Starving to taste, smell, touch, hold and devour all that you have to give;
I am more in love with you now and the past I can relive;

You were, are and always will be the love of my life;
You ask me to be yours but truly I am your wife;
What you do to me is unexplainable but I know it’s based on love;
I’ll pray for all the blessings that will come to us from above;

What you do to me I do to you in return;
We’ll store our feelings into our own love churn;
And I am sure that forever our love will burn;
What you do to me, you love me without concern;

I wrote this for my girl friend , she is my first girl friend and she is the first one I love, I just went to my room and locked the door, I was thinking how lucky I am to have someone like her, I just grabbed a pen and a paper I started writing how I feel for her, in my own way, and its my first poem in English.

Oh , I wonder if this is true
I wake up every morning without any clue
every time I see her my face gets red never blue
oh, is this true?
first I thought I was another boy
just like a puppet or a toy
but in the end she has given me joy
oh, is this true?
I almost stopped looking, but was said lets have another try
then I found her in a blink of an eye
I never thought I would say this but when I miss her I cry
when am with her she says, hold me, hug me, spread your wings and fly
oh, is this true?
her favourite colour is pink and black
she has everything I want with no lack
she loves to eat a chicken mac
when she goes she always comes back
oh, is this true?
I try to understand you like a chart
for us its only the start
just know I will be there and I will never break your heart
oh, is this true?
because I can't believe I am with an angel like you.

This was for that one guy you cant get off your mind no matter how hard you try.

All I can think about is you and your great smile
But I know we can only be friends, for a while
as the bell rings to go to class my heart beats
it beats more and more until the second our eyes meet
As I sit waiting for the next time I get to see you
I think, are my feelings for you wrong
or maybe, just maybe you are feeling them too
all I can hear in my head is a romantic song
I haven't felt this way in a long while,
All I can do is think about you and your beautiful smile.

I am falling in love, for the first time! All of these feelings are so new and exciting the only way I seem to be able to explore them is to put them into poetry. These are my emotions I could never say out loud.

you can put things into words that my mind can't describe
you can tell me you love me and hold me all night
you can cuddle and kiss me and I don't need much more
you know me like no one ever has before
you tell me these jokes and make me laugh all the time
you make me feel great when I'm walking the line
you take my heart and make it float in the sky
I can't even explain all these feelings inside
you spin me around like I'm dancing on air
I could lose everything and not seem to care
you've showed me things I would have never gotten to see
everything feels right when its just you and me
your fingers intertwined with what's known as mine
feels like I'm headed straight for cloud nine.

Thankful As I lay my head down to rest, I pray to God for I am blessed. I thank him for this time with you, and also for a love so true.

I wrote you a note,
such a long time ago.
With the option to check,
in the yes or the no.
I could never imagine,
we would be here today.
Laying down with each other,
and waking up to your face.
A bond never broken,
a love time couldn't change.
On my last day on earth,
I will still feel this way.

I'm so ready for love, but will my love ever find me?

The world can see I'm ripe for love
So where are you?
I forsake my jacket for naked passion
and let winter horrors do their worst
I could melt the shameless birch
The laughing stars gossip and wink
They flow from out my pores
My love is out of doors
The nested squirrel feels tight as this.
All the world knows it's time for Eros' merry strut
I am no secret, I publish all, so tell me
Where are you?

Falling in love with a person, you thought would never hurt you, that would never lie to you, that you thought you would be together for a very very long time, can be dangerous.

Shed a tear, or
Break a laugh,
Either way,
I love you dear.

You are my life.
You are my world.
When we break,
It's like a knife.

Your beautiful face,
Your amazing smile,
What we have,
Is a sweet embrace.

You are the one,
You are different,
And when we met,
It was all real fun.

Do better than this?
I don't think so.
Do you realize?
We need the bliss.

Can't live without your touch.
Can't live without you.
I'll be here forever.
I love you so much.

This poem is for the first girl I ever fell for. I plan to give it to her soon. I hope you all like it.

How I wish,
You would let me play with your hair.

How I wish,
I could hold your hand.

How I wish,
I could hold you close.

Oh, how I wish I could
Tell you this face-to-face.
