A Second Chance

I wrote you a note,
such a long time ago.
With the option to check,
in the yes or the no.
I could never imagine,
we would be here today.
Laying down with each other,
and waking up to your face.
A bond never broken,
a love time couldn't change.
On my last day on earth,
I will still feel this way.
