This is something that just pop in my head one night, I was thinking of this one special person that is a part of my life, I love him more than anything and I just thought of these words and they just kind of went in the way you see them.

Stand By You

© Kelly Potts

Would you marry me
On the beach at sunset or either sun raise
Would you walk with me hand in hand along the sand
With the waves crashing at our feet

or

Would you marry me
In a church with flowers
And friends and family around
Just to be able to walk down the aisles

or

Can I say to you it's OK if you don't pick either
Cause rather I share your name or
Have a ring on my finger
Both would be great
But it would be greater on the day when
I'm able to tell the world

This is the man I will share my life with
This is the man that I will stand by
This is the man that I love

To me it doesn't matter where I stand just has long I can stand by you
