One of the most compelling features of a person, in my opinion, is the eyes. You can see so much in a person, just by looking at their eyes. This poem goes deeper and describes my true love's eyes and just how amazing this person is. I look deeply into their eyes and see the power of our love. The last two lines of the poem are my favorite because of the intensity of the subject.

Alternative Existence

snort the glitter to further your shine
swallow the light so you can glow

your eyes sparkle as gems
your lips drip with chrome

the ground you walk upon
simply melts under your existence
